For the 2024-2025 School Year, we are accepting learners aged 4-12 and will have them grouped into two classrooms.
Our Ignite Studio will house learners aged 4-7 and our Discover Studio will house learners aged 8-12.
For the 2025-2026 School Year, we will extend our age range by one year to 13, the following year to 14, and so on.
We will adjust our Studios and Studio age ranges as our school grows.
In our 4-7 year old classroom (Ignite Studio),
our focus is to ignite their love of learning and
make it a fun place to be.
There will be more of a loose structure in
this studio as they are building the
foundational reading, writing and math skills
in authentic ways. There’s also movement,
choice, hands-on learning and plenty of play
incorporated into every part of the day. These
learners will participate in project based learning
with our students in the Discover Studio.
In our 8-12 year old classroom
(Discover Studio) they’ve now mastered
the foundational reading, writing and
math skills that allow them more freedom
to be self-led in their learning and discover
their passions and strengths. They will focus
on setting goals and managing their time,
so they can learn how to optimize each day when
working on their Core Academics. These
learners will take the lead with our project
based learning curriculum.
Our educational week runs from Monday-Thursday,
meaning not all of our full time students attend on Friday. We've turned each Friday into an enrichment day: offering our Socratic discussions, exercise, lunch
& recess, free time and an enrichment activity that
changes weekly. This works out perfectly for
homeschool families who are looking for something
additional during the week, but not full time.
Core Academics (reading, writing, grammar and math) will be accomplished via a
mixture of hands-on learning and technology* (Discover Studio*). Recess and physical
fitness will almost always be outside. Our discovery + develop block will offer young
learners the opportunity to find their passions and interests, and then give them time
to develop the skills encompassing their newly discovered passion.

have tried to succeed.”
