Spreading the word about the mission behind Apogee Tomball however we can.

The day we signed our lease for our school building for 2025-2026+

Our Popsicle Social - held the Friday before our second year of school began in August of 2025.
Our why started with our oldest daughter, Olivia.
Like many children, she was bright, capable, and full of curiosity - but the traditional school environment simply was not built for the way she learned best.
She moved at different paces in different subjects. She could fly through some concepts while needing more time, repetition, and support in others. Sitting indoors for most of the day left her restless and disconnected. She needed movement. She needed fresh air. She needed space to explore, question, create, and think.
Most of all, she needed time to dive deeply into the things she loved.
Olivia has always had an enormous passion for animals. We watched her light up when she was researching them, caring for them, talking about them, and asking endless questions about the world around her. We realized that when learning was connected to her interests and curiosity, it stopped feeling like “school” and started feeling meaningful.
We wanted to create an environment where students could move at an appropriate pace academically, spend meaningful time outdoors, develop confidence through ownership, and pursue their passions in ways that naturally tied back into reading, writing, research, communication, problem solving, and real-world learning.
What started as a desire to better support our own child eventually became Apogee Tomball - a place built for students who need something different, something more human, and something that allows them to truly thrive.
We believe learning works best when families are actively involved.
We don’t replace the role of parents — we walk alongside them. Through goal-setting meetings, open communication, and shared milestones, families are an essential part of each leader's journey.
This partnership is part of what makes Apogee feel like a close-knit, family-like community.

We believe the family is the strongest and most important unit in a child’s life. That’s why we treat parents as partners — not sideline spectators. Whether it’s through goal-setting meetings, volunteer opportunities, or open communication, families are invited into the educational journey every step of the way.

We don’t protect leaders from failure — we prepare them to face it with resilience. Mistakes are celebrated, not shamed. Struggles are part of the process. We believe the ability to get back up, try again, and grow from the experience is more powerful than getting it “right” the first time.

We don’t want kids who just follow directions — we want kids who ask, “Why?” Our leaders are encouraged to think independently, listen respectfully, and challenge ideas (even our own) with curiosity and courage. Through discussions and real-world exploration, they become thinkers, not just doers.

We care deeply about academics — but we care more about raising kind, empathetic humans. Our leaders practice emotional awareness, conflict resolution, and community care. We believe how we treat one another is part of the curriculum.
Apogee Tomball is a great fit for families who want a partnership in learning, prioritize character and growth, and believe children thrive when they are trusted, guided, and free to explore.
If you want your child to be known, challenged, and supported in a community that cares as much about who they become as what they learn, we’d love to meet you.
